How to Rent One of Our Properties
Step One: Learn About the Property
- Read the Listing: Know exactly what’s included in the rent.
- Review Criteria: Request a sample lease at info@plexmanagement.com
- Drive By: Get a feel for the neighborhood. Please do not disturb current residents.
- Request a Tour: Look for the yard sign code for virtual self-showings.
Step Two: Submit Your Application
- Apply Online: Navigate to our listings page and select your property.
- $55 Application Fee: Non-refundable fee per adult applicant.
- Documents: Email your ID and Proof of Income to our office.
- Screening: Fast processing via AppFolio and Experian.
Step Three: Approval & Next Steps
- Notification: You’ll receive an email with our decision within 24-48 hours.
- Selection Criteria: We look at credit, references, income, pets, and move-in date.
- Holding Deposit: Once approved, a deposit secures the home for you.
- Reports: Request copies at consumer.relations@appfolio.com.

Screening typically takes 24-48 hours. During peak season (Spring/Summer), high volumes may cause slight delays. We recommend having all documents ready to speed up the process.
While we review applications as they arrive, we prioritize the strongest application based on credit history, references, income-to-rent ratio, and desired move-in date.
A holding deposit is typically equal to one month’s rent. Once your application is approved, this deposit ensures the property is taken off the market and held exclusively for you until move-in.
